Rules for Small Group Measurement Certification

LEVEL 1: ($1000/year)

  1. By being certified, you may use the DMPC seal on pages of reports and proposals which are in compliance with one or more of the approved methodologies on the DMPC Small Group Measurement methodologies list
  2. You further agree to be clear on which methodologies are approved by DMPC, in the case that you use others as well
    1. You agree to send the first three reports (blinded or not, as you prefer) to DMPC to ensure correct use of the DMPC seal, and then respond to any random request by DMPC for an additional report
  3. You may use the DMPC "auditor's letter" in these reports, indicating that any page with the seal is in compliance. The "auditor's letter" will clarify that pages without the seal may or may not be valid too, but that those with the seal certainly are.
  4. You will appear on the DMPC Website as an organization Certified in Small Group Measurement

Probation and forfeiture of certification: Two complaints to DMPC about invalid reporting, coupled with the reports in question showing invalid reporting, put an individual or corporation on probation, at which point DMPC reviews all reports for 120 days. A third validated complaint within 360 days after the second forfeits certification. Applicants may reapply for Level 2 Certification immediately, and/or Level 1 certification one year from the date of forfeiture.

LEVEL 2: ($4000/quarter or $6000/half or $10,000/year or $500/report, minimum 10 reports)

  1. You may send any or all of your <50,000-life group reports to DMPC for review
  2. DMPC agrees to turn around all requests within one business day, subject to a $200 return-of-fee for each day late
  3. DMPC will identify any methodological issues or (if no issues) will certify with an e-signed "auditor's letter" that the methodology used is approved and recommended by DMPC. This letter will be very specific as to why the methodology is valid
  4. You will appear on the DMPC website as an organization Certified in Small Group Reporting
  5. Note: If we find arithmetic errors we will point them out to you, but there is no guarantee that we will do that – we will be certifying only the methodology
  6. Up to ten of your customers may have access to the entire Measurement Insights section of the Document Library at no cost to them or you www.dismgmt.com/measurement.htm
  7. DMPC will defend any and all challenges to the methodology(ies) upon request
  8. DMPC will provide two hours of consulting time/month for direct interactions with your customers or prospects
