Scott Insurance Announces Critical Outcomes Report Analysis Certification (CORA) of Dinamarie Fonzone.

Scott Insurance, a southeast regional independent insurance agency announces that Dinamarie
Fonzone, Vice President of the Health Risk Performance Group at Scott Insurance, has received
Critical Outcomes Report Analysis Certification (CORA) from the Disease Management Purchasing
Consortium (DMPC). In an industry where most benefits professionals miss errors and fallacies in
the interpretation of disease management and wellness data, this certification means that Scott clients
will not accept overly optimistic, poorly reasoned, or miscalculated ROI projections from health
risk management providers.

The majority of organizations or individuals CORA-certified by DMPC are large healthcare systems
or consultants to those systems. The certification of an individual at an independent agency reflects
the growing recognition of the importance of validating disease management and wellness data, not
just for the larger Fortune 500 companies, but in the mid-market where these services are often nonexistent.
According to Al Lewis, President of DMPC, “Keeping healthcare providers honest about the
success they claim in financial savings and wellness programs is vital to the protection of an organization’s
human capital and financial resources. Using fundamental best practices for evaluation of
disease management and wellness data is imperative in providing decision makers with legitimate,
valid information when making critical business decisions.”

To receive CORA Certification, an applicant must receive the required training from the DMPC and
successfully identify 70% of mistakes in disease management analysis on an issue spotter test provided
by the DMPC.
